Our holiday cottages are all located in the countryside around Baarlo or Sevenum. It is a beautiful area for walks or bike rides.

With the kids: Toverland Sevenum and Irrland (just across the German border), Play at the Boebadoe farm of Farmer Bart, Zooparc Overloon, Strawberry Land Horst, Playground Roeffen Mart (gratis), play park Klein Zwitserland Tegelen, watch pigs at view farm Melderslo, indoor play park de Fabriek Maasbree, climbing park Fun Forest, we recommend Wereldpaviljoen Steyl on Sundays, Children's party with several activities at the Schatberg, have a picnic and build sandcastles on the Meuse beach near the dam in Baarlo.
Fun villages: Steyl, Arcen (Hertog Jan Brewery, Graanbranderij de IJsvogel and Ice Cream Parlor Clevers, , Kessel, Broekhuizenvorst, Brüggen, Asparagus village Grubbenvorst, Baarlo has several nice shops such as: Furniture shop Hoeve Hofackers and the furniture and flower shop Roze Engel. Sevenum has a fun town centre with the popular fashion shop Jansen Noy.
Fun cities: Venlo, Eindhoven, Nijmegen, Roermond (with outlet), Maastricht, Essen, and Düsseldorf are all less than an hour by car.
Beautiful nature reserves nearby: Elsbeemden (across the cottage in Sevenum), Jaomerdal (Venlo), River park Baarlo-Blerick (just a few minutes from Wijnhuis Baarlo), Baarloose Maasdal, the Grote Heide (Venlo), Schadijk forest (Meterik), Schuitwater (Horst). The cottages have routes that start within about five to ten kilometres of the homes. This link will let you create your own route from the holiday cottage.
